My name is Paul Jonathan Court.

I was born in a shack I built myself.

At the age of 10 I completed a paint by numbers of some tropical fish.

A bit later on I played guitar and wrote songs for one and a half hit wonders The Primitives.

Mid to late 90s I shifted from music to graphic design and began painting.

The subjects of my paintings are chosen pretty much on a whim - beautiful toys, advertising memorabilia, pop culture and cult film images ( avoiding the usual clichés )....basically anything that I find appealing for some reason.

My work hangs on walls in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, several Far Eastern countries and around Europe.

I also on occasion or when asked, spin freakbeat, soul and psychedelic tunes at places where people dance.

I live in Coventry, England....but only in a physical sense.

In a former life I was a member of The Primitives pop group. It's all here in microscopic detail.
